Shock absorbers are vulnerable parts in the use of automobiles. The shock absorbers work well and will directly affect the smooth running of the car and the life of other parts. Therefore, we should make the shock absorbers always in a good working condition. The following methods can be used to verify that the shock absorber is working properly.

1. Make the car stop on roads with poor road conditions for 10km and then stop it. If you do not feel hot, it means there is no resistance inside the shock absorber and the shock absorber does not work. At this point, you can add appropriate lubricants, and then test, if the shell is hot, it is the lack of oil inside the shock absorber, should add enough oil; otherwise, the shock absorber failure.

2. Press the bumper firmly and release it. If the car has 2 or 3 jumps, the shock absorber is working well.

3. When the car is moving slowly and braking suddenly, if the car vibrates more violently, it indicates that there is a problem with the shock absorber.

4. Remove the shock absorber to erect it, and clamp the lower end of the connecting ring on the vise, and then pull the damping rod several times. This time, there should be a stable resistance. The upward resistance should be greater than the downward pressure. Resistance, such as unstable or no resistance, may be due to lack of oil inside the shock absorber or damage to valve parts. Repair or replacement of parts should be performed.

After determining that the shock absorber is defective or has failed, check the shock absorber for signs of oil leakage or old oil leakage.

Oil seal gaskets and gaskets were broken and damaged, and the fuel tank cap nuts were loosened. It may be the oil seal and the gasket failure. Replace the new seal. If you still can not eliminate the oil spill, you should pull out the shock absorber, if you feel there is a hairpin or different severity, and then further check the piston and cylinder bore is too large, the shock absorber piston rod is bent, the piston rod Whether the surface and cylinder are scratched or scratched.

If there is no oil leakage in the shock absorber, check the shock absorber connecting pin, connecting rod, connecting hole, rubber, bushing, etc. for damage, desoldering, cracking or falling off. If the above inspection is normal, the shock absorber should be further decomposed to check whether the clearance between the piston and the cylinder is too large, whether the cylinder is damaged, whether the valve seal is good, and whether the valve flap and the valve seat are tightly adhered or not. Whether the extension spring of the shock absorber is too soft or broken, it is repaired or replaced according to the situation.

In addition, shock absorbers may malfunction in actual use. This is mainly due to shock absorbers colliding with leaf springs, frames, or shafts, damage or detachment of rubber pads, and deformation of the shock absorber dust caps. If it is caused by lack of reasons, the cause should be ascertained and repaired.

The shock absorber shall be tested on a special test bench after performing inspection and repair. When the resistance frequency is 100±1mm, the resistance of the extension stroke and compression stroke shall meet the requirements, indicating that the shock absorber is basically normal.

The Tapered Roller Bearing belongs to the separation type bearing, and the inner and outer rings of the bearing have a conical raceway. The single row tapered Roller Bearing can bear the radial load and the single direction axial load.
