The speed of the rod mill is low, the general speed is 60%~70%; the medium filling rate is also low, about 35%~40%. The grain size of the ore is generally 25~30mm. If the steel bar is too skewed, the steel bar will be bent and broken during operation. At the same time, the nugget will be too large, and there will be a large gap between the rod and the rod, which is not easy to grind to fine particles. Production has fallen. The ore is crushed and ground by the "line contact" when the steel rod falls. Before the large piece is ground, the fine particles are rarely punched by the rod, so the over-grinding phenomenon is less, and the product granularity is relatively uniform, generally 1~ 3mm. Therefore, the rod mill is suitable for fine and coarse grinding of ore in the first stage of open grinding, and is particularly suitable for treating brittle materials.
